Tickets for games 3-4-5 at Joe Bryne Memorial Stadium

  • Tickets for those games will be available for purchase by Holding Seat owners Tuesday evening from 7-9 at the stadium Box Office, and to the General Public Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the same times or on game day.
  • Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by credit card by calling 489-0459 Thursday or Friday from 9 to 4.
  • Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for youth 12 and under.

CATARACTS CLAIM 15TH HERDER MEMORIAL CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE
April 14, 2019 Immediate Release Grand Falls-Windsor, NL – Alex Dalley scored 8:43 seconds into the first overtime period in Game five of the 2019 Herder Memorial Championship to give the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts their fifth herder championship title in nine years and fifteenth overall. Award Winners Announced in Game Three
Hockey NL announced prior to Game three of the 2019 Herder Memorial Championship the Presidents Award winner as the goaltender with best Goals Against Average in Senior A hockey. A.J Whiffin of the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts received the award. The Howie Clouter Memorial Award for the most gentlemanly effective and sportsmanlike player went to Danny Wicks of the Cataracts. The Gander Flyers receive the Telegram Trophy for the best winning percentage in the regular season. [Full Story]

BREAKERS DEFEAT THE CATARACTS TO EXTEND THE HERDER
April 13, 2019 Immediate Release Grand Falls-Windsor, NL –The Southern Shore Breakers scored three first period goals after going down one within the first minute of the game and never relinquished the lead after to beat the Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts by score of 4-2 in game four of the 2019 Herder Memorial Championship tonight. Blake Dalton, Jeremy Nicholas, Peter Kavanagh and Kyle Tibbo scored for the East Coast champs. Captain Mike Brent and Mike Cole tallied for the Cataracts. April 6, 2019 Immediate Release Torbay, NL –The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts got a power play goal from Kyle McQuirk with just over five minutes remaining in the third period to claim game one of the 2019 Herder Memorial Championship on Saturday night over the Southern Shore Breakers. April 7, 2019 Immediate Release Torbay, NL –The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts got goals from five different players and Cats goaltender AJ Whiffin kept the Southern Shore Breakers at bay to take Game two of the 2019 Herder Memorial Championship by a score of 5-1. April 13, 2019 Immediate Release Grand Falls-Windsor, NL –The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts take a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Southern Shore Breakers in the 2019 Herder Memorial Championship after blanking the Breakers 2-0 in Game Three Friday night. Hodge, Reid and Escott receive Senior Hockey Awards
Hockey NL announced the winner of three perpetual individual senior hockey awards last night prior to Game 1 of the 2019 Herder Memorial Championship Series. Albert Pee Wee Crane Memorial is awarded to the Rookie of the Year playing in his first full season. Kris Hodge of the Conception Bay Blues received the award. S.E. Tuma Memorial Trophy is awarded to the leading scorer in Senior A hockey. Kevin Reid of the Clarenville Caribous was the recipient for his 41 point season. T. [Full Story]
